The first month of the summer is over. I've gathered some new pictures and I would like to add them to my album. On the first image you could see adult female Redstart.

I didn't expect a lifer here, after six years of birding, but Puhivka is a magic place! Blyth's Reed Warbler! By the way, It's very rare sighting for Ukraine, especially for the Kiev region. In Ukraine, Blyth's Reed Warbler was recorded in the north of the Kharkiv region and, as far as I know, in the Sumy and Chernihiv region.
Kestrel flied close to me.
Ok, ending up where I started, from Redstart, which nested somewhere close to my dacha. To the point, this is the only place where I've seen Redstart ever! And every year I can observe this beautiful birds very near: as they are arriving in spring, as they are singing day and night, flying here and there and then feeding their nestlings. It's a big pleasure to have such neighbours.
